Summer is officially here and many of us may be vacationing to the beach. One of the highlights of a beach vacation is searching for seashells along the shore with the kids. When my kids were younger, they would spend hours searching and exploring for unique seashells.
Well, after the great seashell search is complete, turn their sea treasures into a craft. This Seashell Monster Craft is an easy preschool craft or elementary school craft that the kids will have fun making. All you need is some seashells and a few craft supplies to get started.
What Do I Need To Make this Seashell Monster Craft?
I love crafts that require simple supplies like this monster shell craft. I’ll bet you have a lot of these craft supplies already tucked away in your craft closet.
Seashells (you can collect them at the beach, or purchase from a craft store.)
How Do I Make Seashell Monsters?
Paint the seashells with different colors and patterns.
Glue googly eyes to the top of the seashells. Use a pipe cleaner to create arms and legs. Glue them to the back of the shells. You can get creative and use feathers, yarn, or pom poms to create hair for the monsters. Glue them to the top of the shells.
Fun right? This monster shell craft is the perfect beach craft. You can even bring all the supplies with you if you have a beach vacation planned. Then, the kids can decorate their sea treasures.
